A few words about clean surfaces
2019-12-18
How often is it worth wiping the dust from the desktop, computer? Who should do this, an employee or cleaning staff? At first glance, simple questions are often baffled.
Maintaining a clean working surface is the responsibility of the cleaners, however, many employees regard actions such as invading personal space, which causes a negative reaction. The staff itself has neither time, nor desire, nor special cleaning products to monitor the cleanliness on its desk.
This situation is observed all over the world. For example, recently, British experts conducted a study in 650 offices of various companies and determined that 28% of telephones, 31% of keyboards and 36% of computer mice, in principle, are never cleaned.
At first glance, this problem is insignificant, but if you think about everything, it turns out to be a little more complicated. For an office employee, the desktop is a reflection of order in the head. A littered, dirty table at times reduces the productivity and sequence of tasks. In addition, computer technology can cause colds, as a huge number of bacteria multiply in keyboards and mice.
SHEN recommends trusting cleaning of work surfaces to professional cleaners who have detergents, tools, and experience in cleaning computer equipment and furniture. After all, cleanliness is the key to health, and ignoring the cleaning of the desktop can lead to poor health and overall performance.
