The keen interest aroused topics related to the development of Facility Management in Ukraine and the state of market readiness, the problems of creation and operation of its own maintenance service in the enterprise, actively discussed the modernization of equipment, feasibility studies and other aspects of the organization of facility management. Participants noted a number of difficulties associated with the recruitment and outsourcing, and proper division between internal processes and service management company for maximum efficiency and teamwork.
A landmark event was the presentation of the Facility Management Association. The main objectives of the Association - to create a favorable environment for the development of the industry and to promote the understanding by all players of the market value of Facility Services.
In addition, the association has set for itself a number of objectives:
Exchange of experience and knowledge amongst market professionals
Education on the basis of international standards and practices as well as taking into account the realities of the Ukrainian market
Maintain a constructive dialogue with the authorities to solve the problems of the industry
Business breakfast revealed the severity and importance of certain issues related to the management of the Facility in Ukraine. The plans of the organizers of the event in the future to gather on one platform industry professionals to share experiences and help resolve issues related to the problems of the industry.
